2023 SLAM KR Offline Event Successfully Completed with 140 Participants

The SLAM KR community, the largest community for simultaneous location estimation and mapping technology in Korea, successfully concluded the 2023 SLAM KR Offline Event on November 25, 2023 at GRC Yeoksam Gathering Space.

The event was held from 12pm to 6pm and consisted of 5 guest speaker presentations and 3 lightning talks. In addition, a panel session was held with all the speakers to answer questions from the attendees.

In particular, the SLAM KR community was rebranded and renamed SpatialAI KR at this offline event. "We will expand from the existing SLAM technology to cover a wider range of spatial AI technologies and move forward as a playground to help various tech influencers grow," said Shin Dong-won, Spatial AI KR.

The 140+ people who attended the event were all listening intently, and many of them came up to the podium for a group photo at the end of the event. The event was made possible with the full support of nine sponsoring companies and labs (Floatic Robotics, S.O.S. Labs, Robopi Labs, Clobot, Simes, QuiltLab, Deep Insight, FastCampus, SPARO Lab).
